Monique Stein started her career in 1989 with Goldman Sachs in London as a member of the transaction documentation group within the Investment Banking Division. In 1991, she became Vice President in the Private/Real Estate Private Equity group where she was involved in new Fund launches and complicated legal and tax structures. She later transferred to Wealth Management, focussing on servicing ultra high end clients across Europe. After leaving Goldman in 2001 she became the Chief Operating Officer and head of Compliance for an independent wealth management firm with assets over $2 billion. In 2004 Monique started her own consulting firm, advising several independent wealth management businesses and family offices focussing on legal/tax/fund structuring and client documentation. She also worked as the internal legal advisor for a fractional ownership business of luxury yachts and a Real Estate Private Equity Fund.

Monique has a Master of Laws (LLM) from the Utrecht University School of Law in the Netherlands and speaks English, Dutch, French, German and Spanish.
